BOSE adds Google Assistant and Noise Control Settings to QC35

When it comes to best noise canceling headphones out there, Bose QC35 is right at the top with best in class sound quality and battery life. QC35 has been the best selling headphone last year and now the company has introduced the successor which adds seamless voice access to your Google Assistant. The user also gets Noise control settings to adjust the noise around.

The new QC35 II is very identical to the previous model, offering the same industry-defining noise cancellation, audio performance, and up to 20 hours of battery life. On the right cup, we have the audio volume, and the multi-function button for incoming calls and accessing Siri.  But on the left earcup, there is a new action button that allows you to access the Google Assistant without having to use the phone.

This would be the first time that Google Assistant is integrated directly with the headphone, thanks to the collaboration between Bose and Google. By holding the Action Button, the Google Assistant will help the users play a playlist or a favorite song, and add appointments to your Google calendar.  The users can also check a score, the latest headlines, whether a flight is on time, what movies are playing etc. The microphone picks-up voices with remarkable accuracy, so commands are understood.  Bose active noise cancellation dramatically eliminates unwanted sounds around you – so whether you’re in a crowded airport terminal, on a busy city sidewalk, or a subway platform at rush-hour – you only hear your Assistant or your music, brilliantly reproduced.

The QC35 II now lets you choose to keep the active noise cancellation level high, low or even completely turn off. The Connect App also lets you change the Action Button’s functionality, so you can control the noise settings from the earcup when you want, and switch back to your Google Assistant when you want.

The QC35 II noise-canceling headphones will be available starting today in black and silver, priced at INR 29,363. The QC35 II’s Action Button will access Google Assistant in the markets where Google Assistant is available; in other markets, the Action Button will control noise settings only.  The QC35 II noise-canceling headphones will be sold at Bose retail stores, and authorized Bose dealers.
