Motorola has been quite successful with the sales of it’s smartphones in India thanks to the Moto G and Moto E which sold like hot cakes on Flipkart. Now Flipkart has released a teaser on twitter pointing to a new Motorola flagship device to be launched soon in India.
The teaser says “Get your life Turbocharged, Accelerated Performance and Ballistic Nylon fairing” all of which point to only one device, the Moto Maxx. Moto Maxx, the global variant of Verizon’s Droid Turbo is the flagship device of Motorola which was launched last year in the U.S.
The device packs some serious hardware which includes Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 805 processor with 2.7 GHz quad-core CPU (APQ8084) which is a 64-bit processor paired with Motorola’s own computing system for voice recognition and gestures. The device also has 3GB RAM and 32/64 GB internal memory. We get a 5.2″ Amoled 1440×2560 Quad HD display which results in a pixel density of 565 ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a 21MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The prominent feature among all is the 3,900 mAh battery that lasts upto 48 hours on mixed usage and Motorola has promised that its own turbo charger can restore up to 8 hours of battery life in the phone for a mere 15 minutes of charging.
