HyperX, a division of Kingston Technology but focusing on high performance computer peripherals like RAM and gaming headsets has launched the HyperX ALLOY™ FPS mechanical gaming keyboard. HyperX ALLOY FPS Keyboard is designed for dedicated FPS gamers which is why it has become the official keyboard of Intel Extreme Masters and used in the Intel Showcase across all events in Season 11.

The keyboard itself has a minimal design allowing the gamers to have more space on the desk and there by up the comfort level. HyperX Alloy FPS features the Cherry MX Blue Mechanical switches to provide good tactile feedback and performance to support extreme usage. The build is solid with steel alloy frame and is quite heavy for a keyboard but is as expected given it’s a mechanical keyboard. The keyboard has red LED backlight and six modes to play with the LED lighting including a custom mode.

There is a Game mode which disables the Windows key on the keyboard so that even accidental key press does not interrupt the gameplay that is going on. The keyboard also has a USB port for charging mobile phones or other portable devices while the keyboard is connected to PC.

“After extensive research and hundreds of hours of gameplay testing, HyperX developed a mechanical keyboard from the ground up to withstand the most intense gameplay, featuring a small footprint that is vital for FPS gamers. With its solid steel alloy frame and Cherry MX Blue switches, this keyboard is designed for over 50 million keystrokes per key,” said HyperX.

HyperX Alloy FPS keyboard will be exclusively available on Amazon India and later be made available in all major offline stores across India at a MRP of INR 8,999/-.
