As reported earlier today, OnePlus 3 has been made official by OnePlus. The device was one of the much hyped but worst kept secret in recent days and is already on sale in India through Amazon India.
The device specifications are in line with the leaks that we have been seeing last couple of days. OnePlus 3 is an all metal body device made out of premium space-grade aluminum alloy and is just 7.3mm thin. It is powered by top of the line Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU. Storage wise we have a whopping 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and a non-expandable 64GB ROM. We have a 5.5 inch Optic AMOLED FHD screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4 which we think is better than a screen with 2K resolution given how easy and fast it would be for the processor to render the images.
OnePlus 3 boasts a lightning fast 16MP Camera with both Electronic image stabilization (EIS) and Optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure pictures are smooth and crisp. The camera also supports professional mode which provides options like manual focus, ISO and more along with support for RAW image files too. There is a 8MP front camera for selfies which features a Smile Capture option that clicks a picture by just smiling without using any buttons.
We have a 3000 mAh non-removable battery that supports Dash Charge which provides a day’s power in just 30 mins charging time. There is a fingerprint scanner that unlocks the device in just 0.2 seconds even from a sleeping screen. Connectivity wise we have dual nano sim options, 4G LTE and NFC included too. The device runs on Oxygen OS based on Android Marshmallow that is similar to Stock Android but with lot more customization options.
OnePlus 3 is already on sale invitation-free on Amazon India for INR 27,999.
