There have been reports of Galaxy Note 7 explosion while charging due to faulty battery resulting in Samsung halting the distribution in Korea. Now the company has decided to recall the device in other countries as well to do a quality check.
The original plan was to change the batteries of phones but now Samsung has decided to give a full refund or provide new phone in exchange. Samsung is said to be pointing fingers at various vendors who are involved in the manufacture of batteries for Galaxy Note 7 but in the meanwhile stocks have been falling ever since the news of explosion broke out. It is also confirmed that Samsung has halted the sales of Note 7 devices in Belgium where all the units in warehouses have been recalled for quality checking before selling them.
Samsung is yet to give an official statement on the issue and a solution to users from other countries who have bought the device already.
