The Taiwanese company today announced the latest smartphone in Zenfone 3 series – Asus Zenfone 3S Max which is priced at INR 14,999. The key feature of the device will be the 5000mAh battery which has found it’s way into many smartphones in the past couple of months.
Zenfone 3S Max features a full metal body and a 5.2 inch HD display covered by 2.5D contoured glass with 75% screen to body ratio. The device is powered by MediaTek 64-bit MT6750 octa-core chipset with processors clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 3GB RAM. There is 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB! Zenfone 3S Max has a 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 primary camera that supports Phase Detection Autofocus, with an ƒ/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and on the front, the smartphone features an 8MP camera that supports an 85 degree wide field of view, and modes like Beautification mode and HDR mode. The phone also has a front fingerprint scanner within the home button that can store up to 5 fingerprints.
The phone runs on a massive 5000mAh battery which Asus claims that on a full charge, provides up to 34 days of standby time on 4G, 28 hours of talk time on 3G, 18 hours of video playback and 25 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing. The smartphone also has five selectable power modes to optimize performance and help extend the battery life further – Performance mode, Normal mode, Power saving mode, Super saving mode and Customized mode. Even with intensive gaming and multimedia tasks, the phone would be up and running for more than a day easily with this massive battery.
Zenofone 3S Max will be one of those phones running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and with Asus’ own skin, ZenUI 3.0. The device will be available on 7th February 2017, in two colors – Black and Gold.
