Asus has announced the Zenfone Zoom in India in it’s launch event today. The phone which was only available in Taiwan till now has been touted as the thinnest phone with a 3x optical zoom.
The Zenfone Zoom features a 10 element lens HOYA arrangement and upto 12x magnification along with Optical image stabilization which support 4 stops shutter speed and 16x longer exposure duration for a crispier and stable image. The phone has an aluminum unibody design covered with leather on the back. The Zenfone Zoom has a 5.5″ FHD screen covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered by 2.5GHz 64-bit Intel Z3590 quad core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 6430 PowerVR GPU. There is 3000 mAh battery which supports quick charge and a sonicmaster 2.0 audio technology for incredible sound.
The phone has been launched at a price of Rs.37,999 which is available exclusively on Flipkart – both the black and white variants.
