Cyanogenmod 12S has been rolling out for the OnePlus One mobiles and we knew that it would not take long for Yureka users to get it too. And now we have Cyanogenmod 12 available for Yureka which can be flashed manually since the OTA update is not yet showing up. Follow the below steps to update your Yureka to Lollipop 5.0.2 version. Also note that this is the official Cyanogenmod 12 OTA file that we are going to flash and so you don’t have to worry about issues in future updates.
Step 1 : Download this file Cyanogenmod12 and copy it to your internal storage
Step 2 : Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number. Tap 7 times on the build number to enable the Developer options.
Step 3 : Go back one level and tap on Developer options. Select the Advanced Reboot option.
Step 4 : Hold down the Power button to get power menu, select reboot and then tap on “Recovery”
Step 5 : Once the phone reboots into recovery mode, tap on wipe cache partition
Step 6 : Tap on Apply Update -> Choose from Internal storage -> 0/ -> Cyanogen OS version 12.0-YNG1TAS0W0 (file that you downloaded). Wait for few seconds.
Step 7 : Tap on Reboot system now and wait for around 15-20 mins for the phone to boot up.
Once the phone boots up, you can see your device updated to Android Lollipop 5.0.2 version.
Note: Make sure the device is fully charged!
