Google Pixel 8 Pro leaks continue

As the anticipation for Google’s next-generation smartphones builds up, Android enthusiasts are eager to get a glimpse of what’s to come. If Google sticks to its usual schedule, the official unveiling of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro is expected to take place at a special event in California this October.

Surprisingly, we’re already witnessing an influx of Google Pixel 8 Pro leaks, despite the launch being approximately three months away. Today, a comprehensive list detailing the essential specifications of the Pixel 8 Pro has surfaced on Twitter.

Google’s flagship device for 2023 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120 Hz LTPO OLED display, powered by the Google Tensor G3 SoC, which comes with an integrated Titan security chip for enhanced protection. On the memory side, there will be 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. Providing juice for the device will be a 4,950 mAh battery with support for 27W wired charging.

The rear camera system will house 3 sensors: a 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp and steady shots, a 64 MP ultrawide lens for capturing expansive scenes, and a 48 MP telephoto lens for zooming in on distant subjects. On the front, selfies are handled by an 11 MP snapper, ensuring you get stunning self-portraits every time.

While the Pixel 8 Pro is likely to build upon the solid foundation laid by its predecessor, it may not introduce radical changes that completely redefine the smartphone landscape. Nevertheless, incremental improvements and refinements could still make the Pixel 8 Pro a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable and high-performing device.
