LeEco, formerly LeTv announced their entry into the Indian smartphone market with Le Max and Le 1s in a grand launch event on Jan 20. Registrations are already open for Le 1s on Flipkart who will be the exclusive online retailer for LeEco devices.
Le Max is the flagship device from LeEco which boasts a display of 6.33 inches 2k resolution and Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB RAM. There are 2 color choices based on the storage option – 64GB Silver and 128GB Gold color. On the back we have a 21 MP Sony IMX230 sensor camera below which there is finger print sensor that can used for multiple functions. On the front there is a 4MP ultra-pixel camera. Le Max has been launched at a price of 32,999 INR for the 64GB model.
Le 1s is the affordable of the two phones launched. It has 5.5 inch FHD screen and Mediatek’s flagship processor Helio X10 Turbo paired with 3GB RAM. There is a powerful 13MP camera at the back made by Samsung and a 5MP wide angle front camera for taking great selfies. On the storage side we have non-expandable 32GB internal storage. We also have a fingerprint sensor on the back for multiple functions. Le 1s has been launched at a very attractive price of 10,999 INR which will surely give a run for the other smartphones in the same price range.
LeEco is clearly sending out message to other smartphone companies with their aggressive pricing for the mobiles, especially with Le 1s which will be a definite hit given the price and the value it is offering.
