Pictures of a dual camera device from LeEco was leaked numerous times in the past months and now the company has made it official – LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition. The phone was launched in China yesterday and will be available in two variants.
The device has a 5.5-inch FHD display and a full metal body like the original Le Pro 3 launched a few months back. The base variant is powered by the MediaTek X23 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and has 4GB RAM with a storage of 32GB. The ‘Eco’ variant has the same RAM but is powered by MediaTek X27 processor clocked at 2.6 GHz and has 64GB internal storage. Both the devices run on a 4000mAh battery and are on Android Marshmallow out of the box.
The main features of the device include the dual camera setup at the rear which consists of 13MP + 13MP f/2.0 sensors. One sensor will be for monochrome mode and the other for capturing color. The cameras can capture 4k videos at 30fps and 720p slo-mo at 120fps. On the front, we have an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 and 76.5-degree wide angle lens. The phones also feature an AI assistant ‘LeLe’ that will be integrated with all of the LeEco applications. Users will be able to talk to LeLe even when the screen is off. The company says LeLe will learn over time and get better based on the user actions.
The base version of the Le Pro 3 AI Edition is priced at around $260 while the Helio X27 model will be sold for around $350. The Le Pro 3 AI Edition is available in gold, rose gold, and black.
