Xiaomi has announced the large Mi Max smartphone for Indian market at a launch event held today. The device which was launched a while back in China will be available in different variants – a Snapdragon 650 variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for INR 14,999 and a Snapdragon 652 variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage for INR 19,999.
Mi Max comes with a 6.44-inch 1080p display, metal body and a finger print sensor at the back along with a 16MP PDAF camera. On the front you have a 5MP selfie camera with 36 smart beauty profiles, ƒ/2.0 large aperture and 85° wide angle lens. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 650 or 652 depending on the variant, 3GB/4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage with a battery of capacity 4850mAh.
The device will be available through open sale starting July 13 from leading retailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Paytm along with Xiaomi’s own mi.com.
