Micromax has today launched affordable 4k (UHD) Smart TVs in India with Flipkart as the exclusive dealer. The TVs come in 2 sizes – 42″ and 49″ and are priced at INR 39,990 and INR 49,990 respectively.
These 4K TVs are identical in all the features except the size and Android version they run on. The TVs are powered by a dual core processor + quad core GPU paired with 1 GB RAM. The 42″ TV runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean where as the bigger sibling runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. We have 2.5 GB internal memory that is expandable upto 32 GB. On the connectivity side we have 1 USB 3.0 Port, 2 USB 2.0 Ports and 2 HDMI ports. They are also Wifi enabled and can act as a Wifi hotspot too! There is a mirroring feature that allows you to play content from your mobile onto your TV or the other way round. The TVs are also equipped with a remote that works seamlessly in controlling and playing Android games on your TV.
