Oppo U3 has been making rounds since November but now it has been confirmed with the company officially announcing the smartphone.
Oppo U3 sits in the phablet category with its 5.9 inch 1080p display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6752 chip with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.7 GHz, Mali-T760MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM.
A prominent feature of the Oppo U3 is it’s 13MP camera with 4x Optical zoom and 4k Video recording. There is a 5MP camera in the front for selfies which is paired with an LED flash for better pictures in low lighting conditions. The U3 is being launched on January 14th in China, a day before Xiaomi announces the Redmi Note 2.
