OnePlus 3 was launched few months back which went on to become one of the best flagships of the year and now, the best has been made even better. OnePlus 3T is the new flagship device similar to former but with upgrades in the processor, battery and camera departments.
Design wise the OnePlus 3T is same as the previous model with only a new color option “Gunmetal”. As suggested by leaks, the device is now powered by the latest Snapdragon 821 processor (previously SD820) and comes with two storage versions, 64GB and 128GB which are of UFS 2.0. There is no change in the rear camera but it is now covered by a sapphire crystal for enhanced protection. The front camera however is now upgraded to 16MP as well over the the previous 8MP sensor. The camera is made by Samsung and has same f/2.0 aperture but the pixel size has shrunk from 1.4 nm to 1.0 nm. The new front snapper supports PDAF and supports 1080p recording at 30fps. The device still runs on company’s own Oxygen OS based on Android Marshmallow
The battery too is now upgraded to a 3400mAh one which is 400mAh more than the OnePlus 3 and still supports the dash charger for quick charging. This will definitely come as a good news to the consumers given how important the battery life is with all the powerful components being used in devices now a days.
There will be two color variants of OnePlus 3T – Gunmetal and Soft Gold. The device will be available starting November 22 in North America and November 28 in other countries starting at a price of $439 for 64GB variant and $479 for the 128GB variant.
