Design and Display of Zenbook 15 UX534F:

ASUS ZenBook 15 UX534F has the same design as previous models with a sleek body and premium finish. It measures 22 x 35.4 x 1.9 cm and weighs around 1.65Kg which makes it a perfect ultrabook for carrying around when traveling. The body is made of aluminum and gives a solid feel which shows the build quality of the laptop. On the left, there is a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port and an audio jack. On the other side you can see the power plug, an HDMI connector, a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) and a USB Type-C 3.1 (Gen. 1), followed by a full-sized SD card reader.

ASUS ZenBook 15 UX534F comes with a 15.6 inches Full HD IPS display similar to the previous UX533 model. The viewing angles and the contrast ratio are good which is now a norm for most of the Asus laptops. The display covers 92% of the sRGB colors and is pleasant for watching movies or playing games.

Performance:

The model we have is powered by Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor with clock speed up to 4.60 GHz. There is 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU to handle intensive tasks and multitasking. The GPU is a step up from the previous model that used GeForce MX250 which was not that great when it came to some heavy games or tasks. In our usage, the laptop was able to handle anything that was thrown at it without any hiccups. The GPU was also able to produce some good frames per second in most of the games we played. It comes with a 1TB Samsung SSD which gives high read and write speeds. This certainly is a pretty powerful ultrabook that can make work easier even when on the move.

Screenpad 2.0 is a nice improvement over the previous generation making it look crisper and feel smoother than before. The 5.65-inch IPS ScreenPad on this ZenBook acts as the secondary display to help in multitasking. You can have a browser open or even Spotify app to control your music while you work on something important on the main display.

ASUS ZenBook 15 UX534F has a battery life of around 8.5 hours which is better than other Zenbook models given the battery capacities are almost the same. The 120 W AC adapter is relatively lightweight and compact and helps in charging from 0-100 in around 1.5 hours.

Conclusion:

ZenBook 15 UX534F is a must buy if you are looking to get a powerful laptop that is sleek and comes with some great features. The things that can tempt are the great display, battery life, premium look and the performance from the CPU and GPU. The laptops from other brands in this segment are either expensive or do not offer all the features like his one here. But, if you already own a Zenbook model then you have no reason to buy this refreshed model.
