Asus has launched the company’s latest wearable – the ZenWatch 3 in India and is available exclusively on Flipkart. This is the first smart watch from Asus to feature a round case and made of premium materials.
Unlike the previous generation models, ZenWatch 3 looks very stylish crafted from jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel with a choice of luxurious straps to add to it. This cold-forged steel is 82 percent stronger than conventional steel to ensure that ZenWatch 3 is durable. The watch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 400 by 400 resolution and 287 ppi pixel density covered with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The watch’s round case is just 9.95mm thick and has a narrow, rose-gold bezel for a sophisticated look. There are three crown buttons to provide quick access to frequently used functions, including opening the ZenFit activity tracking app and changing the display modes.
 
The watch runs on Android Wear platform and is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 (APQ 8009w) processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. The processor which is specifically made for wearables consumes 25 percent less energy than previous Snapdragon processors. ZenWatch 3 also features 340mAh battery with exclusive HyperCharge technology that takes just 15 minutes to reach a 60 percent charge. On connectivity side, the watch has Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi options. ZenWatch 3 also has a built-in microphone and supports call and messaging.
The watch will is already available for pre-order on Flipkart and is priced starting from INR 17,599 with two color variants – Gunmetal and silver.
