Huawei today added a new mid-range smartphone to its portfolio – the Huawei Y9s which comes with a full-screen display and a pop-up camera to pull in the youth as their main consumers.
Huawei Y9s features a 6.59-inch FullView screen which is an LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and having no notch or punch hole thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. Under the hood, it is powered by Kirin 710F octa-core chipset paired with 6GB of RAM to support multitasking and other intensive tasks like gaming. There is 128GB of internal memory that can be further expanded using a microSDXC card.
Y9s offers a triple camera setup at the back which consists of a 48MP main camera, 8MP Ultra-Wide Angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Like other Huawei phones, you get the AI mode and the Stunning night mode that can help in low-light conditions. On the front, there is a 16MP pop-up camera that features AI beauty mode to enrich selfies and get good portraits out of it.
A 4000mAh battery keeps the phone going for at least a full day and supports 10W standard charging. The phone runs on Huawei’s custom skin EMUI 9.1 (Based on Android 9) which is a letdown as we expect Android 10 in most of the new devices.
Huawei Y9s will be available from 19th May for a price of INR 19,990 and is exclusive to Amazon.
