The Microsoft Selfie app is now finally available on Android to help you take better snaps. The app was launched last year for the iOS users and had some of the Android fans disappointed over availability until now. The app is very similar to the Lumia selfie app on Windows platform which uses various algorithms and data points for producing enhanced selfies.
Microsoft says the app is capable of converting average selfies into more natural and enhanced ones which also consists of twelve filters to change the pictures like we do on other applications (Instagram, Retrica etc). The app is currently available on the Google Play store for download. The below video by Microsoft shows some of the features in Selfie App.
Microsoft is also launching the selfie app for web, which only enhances your pictures at the moment. There are no filters or even cropping since the web version is not final yet. So it is safe to presume that all the features will be available once the Web app is announced officially.
