Nubia M2 Lite announced in India

Nubia has announced the company’s latest device M2 Lite – which is targeted towards the young generation with features like the 16MP front camera for selfies. The M2 Lite will be available in India through an exclusive partnership with Amazon.

The device has a metal unibody with 5.5-inch FHD LCD screen covered with 2.5D glass. M2 Lite is powered by the Octa-core MediTek MT6750 processor that consists of four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and another four cores clocked at 1.0 GHz. Memory wise, the device has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. The phone supports dual sim with 4G support and VoLTE. M2 Lite has the custom Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and runs on a 3000mAh battery which can help you get through a full day according to the company. There is a home button on the front which also has a fingerprint sensor embedded within.

Let’s talk about the highlight feature of the phone- the 16MP front camera for selfies. M2 Lite is the first Nubia device to feature a 16MP front camera and aims to be a direct competitor for devices like Vivo V5 and Oppo A57. The front camera has a 2μm virtual pixel size (pixel-binning technology) and a f/2.0 wide aperture lens to capture sharp pictures even in low lighting conditions. There is a front flash and also a screen flash for brighter selfies. The camera app consists of around 9 beauty modes and about 90 beautiful effects including smoothing out your skin, enlarging your eyes, enhancing the angles of your face and so on. On the back, there is a 13MP SONY Exmor RS CMOS camera with F2.2 Aperture, PDAF, and 5P lens setup. The phone also comes with the new NeoVision 6 and options like Multi Exposure; Light Painting; Electronic Aperture; Slow Shutter; Star Trail; SLO-MO; Time-Lapse etc.

The Nubia M2 Lite will be available in India priced at Rs. 13,999/- on Amazon starting from May 09, 2017 at 12:00 PM. The device will be available in Black Gold color.
