Nubia, the sub-brand of ZTE is getting aggressive in the Indian smartphone market by launching devices across the segments competing with every major smartphone company. Only a couple of days back, the Nubia N2 was launched with a focus on battery life and today the company has announced Nubia M2 which is a mid-range phone that focuses on the camera.
The device features a round edged body with a diamond cut metal frame and a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display. Nubia M2 is powered by Qualcomm’s power efficient Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There is an internal memory of 64GB that can be extended up to 200GB. The device runs on Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3630mAh battery.
Nubia M2 is the second device in the company’s mid-range lineup to feature a dual camera setup. It has two 13 MP Sony CMOS sensors –one RGB and one Monochrome sensor, with f2.2 aperture and 0.1s hybrid focus. The device allows pictures to achieve the adjustment of F0.8-F10 aperture effects with the proprietary merging algorithm which intelligently combines the colors from RGB sensor with the details captured by the monochrome sensor similar to Huawei’s P series. On the front there is a 16MP camera with F2.0 wide-aperture lens and also features various beauty modes and live filters.
The Nubia M2 will be available only for Amazon Prime customers during Amazon prime Day in India priced at Rs. 22,999/- on Amazon.in starting from July 10, 2017
