Redmi Note 7 Pro launched in India with 48MP camera

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India today which will be the latest addition to the Redmi Note series. The company has decided to bring the newer model to India although the Redmi Note 6 was only launched a few months back. This time around, Xiaomi has made sure to leave no stone unturned in the mid-range segment by providing exciting features at an absolutely great price.

Redmi Note 7 Pro design

Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3 inch Dot Notch display with FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 both on the front and back. The device is powered by the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with Adreno 612 GPU for enhanced performance. There are two memory configurations  – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB which should be sufficient for most of the use cases and there is also storage expansion up to 256GB if needed. The company has also added a splash-proof nano-coating that will repel accidental liquid spills and light rain. All the openings are also now sealed with custom rubberized material to keep any liquid from seeping in. Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 4000mAh battery with a type-C charging port that supports Quick Charge 4.0.

The main highlight of Redmi Note 7 Pro is the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor which is unusual at this segment but could be the main differentiator among other devices. This means high-resolution pics and even zooming in should produce pretty good quality in the pictures. Redmi Note 7 Pro also features a high sensitivity mode that will combine 4 pixels into a single 1.6μm Super Pixel to produce a high-quality low-light shot as per the company. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera with AI mode for taking portrait shots and also face unlock feature.
