There is support for 360 Reality Audio which can turn a live concert recording into an immersive experience. The new V1 chip has been designed to improve the active cancellation and also achieve a 40% lower noise level compared to the predecessor.

The foam tips are made with proprietary polyurethane which help attenuate noise and in better passive noise isolation. WF-1000XM4 also features “Speak-to-Chat” which can detect when you are speaking and automatically pause your music and enable Ambient Sound. Each of the WF-1000XM4 earbuds have beam-forming mics and a bone conduction sensor to pick up clear voice during calls even in noisy environment.

The new buds are smaller than the XM3 ones and yet offer better fit and sturdy construction with an IPX4 rating. You will be getting 8hours of battery life with ANC enabled and around 12 hours without it. The smaller case can charge the buds twice giving a total of 24 hours of battery life. For charging, you get a USB-C cable which can allow 60 minutes of play time with 5 minutes of charging. The case also features Qi wireless charging in addition to the USB-C wired charging.
