Vivo, the Chinese company that has been pretty active in the smartphone market introducing a number of selfie-centric devices, today announced the new V5s with a 20MP selfie camera. The device is priced at Rs.18,990 and will be available in stores and on Flipkart from 6th May 2017 onwards.
V5s has a metal body with 5.5″ 720p IPS display and is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD slot. The phone runs on the company’s Funtouch OS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3000mAh battery. We have a fast fingerprint sensor, support for Hi-fi music and 4G VoLTE support as well.
The V5s has a 13MP rear camera with PDAF but it is the front camera that steals the show here. We get a 20MP front camera with the moonlight flash for capturing stunning selfies even at low-light. The front camera has the Face Beauty 6.0 feature to enhance the selfies and also features various filters and options.
