Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition with 20W Speakers Launched in India

Mi India, India’s no. 1 smartphone and smart TV brand, today introduced their new Horizon Edition TV series, consisting of Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (32) and Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition (43). This comes after the company launched the Horizon Edition laptop a few days ago.

The all-new Mi TV Horizon Edition comes with a bezel-less design featuring very thin bezels running around the edges. There are two variants available: a 43-inch LED model with full-HD resolution and a 32-inch model with HD resolution. Under the hood, there is a Cortex A53 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The TV also features 20W speakers with DTS-HD technology. The Mi TV Horizon Edition runs on Android TV based on PatchWall UI, with access to the Google Play Store and over 23+ content partners and 7+ news channel.

On the connectivity side, the Mi TV comes with 2x USB Type-A ports, 3x HDMI ports, 1x ethernet port, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. There is also built-in support for Chromecast and Google Assistant. Users can simply use their voice to invoke Google assistant and perform different operations on the TV. The Chromecast helps the users to cast content from their smartphone on to the TV whether it is pictures or even videos from various apps. Google’s Data Saver is available on the Mi TV which reduces the data consumption. Xiaomi claims that the feature allows for up to 3x more streaming on mobile hotspot.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition: Pricing and Availability

The latest TVs will be available in two variants: the 32-inch model priced at Rs 13,499 and the 43-inch model priced at Rs 22,999. The 32-inch model will be available from September 11 on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Flipkart whereas, the 43-inch model will go on sale from September 15 on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Amazon India.
